These paintings from the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland feature whimsical watercolour illustrations of some of my favourite places! I've tried to capture the joy of the Scottish seaside, our beautiful beaches and cute, local wildlife. Each print is taken from an original painting using watercolour, ink and coloured pencil.
This print features the quaint cottages and fishing boats of Crail Harbour with a tiny crab looking on from its rock. Crail is famous for its crab and they are often used as an emblem for the town. The harbour is full of fishing boats ready to find the catch of the day for the local restaurants! Below the waves the sea bubbles and a shoal of tiny fish swim by. Seagulls, seaweed and a pebbly ocean floor finish off this charming seaside scene.
