These lovely square notebooks feature whimsical seaside watercolour paintings from the East Neuk of Fife, Scotland. This one shows a cute seagull sitting next to the bathing pool at Cellardyke. The notepads have 48 pages of lined paper and are made in the UK. They come wrapped in a lovely bellyband so would make a gorgeous gift! They measure 13.5cm square.
This painting on the notebook shows a little seagull perched on the rocks at Cellardyke bathing pool. This tidal pool was one of many along the Fife coastal path, originally built in the 1930's but sadly allowed to fall into disrepair. Since lockdown, sea swimming has become hugely popular again and community groups are restoring the pools to bring them back to their former glory! I've had a wonderful time swimming in this pool over the last few years so throughly enjoyed painting it. The magical Isle of May on the horizon makes a glorious view from our own little infinity pool!
