International Thinners No.3

International Thinner No.3 is suitable for use with antifouling paints (except for Micron® Optima and VC® products), bottom coatings and other special paints.

It is also used to help thin one-part varnishes and finishes making them suitable for spray application. This thinner can also be used for equipment cleaning in association with the above products.

Why do I need a Thinner? 

Thinners are solvents which are usually the same, or very similar to those used within the product they are recommended with. Thinners can be used as an additive to ease application, or to clean brushes and equipment.

Thinners for International products

• No 1 – For use above the waterline, Thinner No.1 is a very good, general purpose thinner that’s designed to be used with one-part paints (excluding antifoulings) and varnishes.
• No 3 – Suitable for antifouling paints (except for VC® products), bottom coatings and other special paints. It’s also used to help spray on our one-part varnishes and finishes.
• No 7 – Specially formulated for thinning epoxy type products including Interprotect® and Gelshield® 200.
• No 9 – A very effective thinning agent for use with two-part polyurethane products and/or cleaning equipment
• No 100 – Specially formulated for thinning One UP, Toplac Plus and Perfection Pro. Making it easier to apply the product using a brush at elevated temperatures.
