South Pacific WA1100 series is designed for boats from 28ft to 42ft or to handle an anchor up to 18kg. The power unit is held horizontallyand beneath the deck which reducesthe space requirement of the unit but at the cost of a more complex gear box and power effeciency. The unit benefits from an improvedself-locking worm gear box which gives it high stress capacity and can also can reduce power consumption by up to 15%. The power unit can be oreinted in one of eight horizontal positions. A built in torque limiter absorbs sudden impacts to deliver a smoother operation and greater reliability.
