The Windex Scout VHF antenna is a patent pending combination of the Windex€™s sapphire-bearing vane and Scout€™s premium, fiberglass, antenna.  This unique design places the Windex 15 on the top of Scout€™s rigid antenna which enables precise, undisturbed wind readings and high-quality VHF transmission.

Windex Vane

Placing the Windex at the top of the antenna ensures that its famous sapphire jewel bearing suspension system can be exploited to give wind indication in all wind conditions, including very light winds down to 2 tenths of a knot.

Windex Assembly

The Windex is securely connected to the Scout antenna with a chrome plated joint.

Scout Antenna

The premium Scout antenna is fabricated with a reinforced fiberglass shell, 1.4 mm thick and foam filled using Scout€™s 100% Waterproof Technology.  It is painted with white ice lack and anti-UV filter to prevent deterioration to the colour by the sun€™s rays.

Two Sized Models

The Windex Scout comes in two sizes.Windex Scout VHF 50cm has a 1dB range for middle range communication.Windex Scout VHF 90cm has a 3dB range for long range communication.
