A safety line together with a safety harness or life jacket with integrated safety harness is a good way to avoid falling overboard, or if you fall overboard be able to get on board again.

Baltic Elastic Lifeline is a strong elastic safety line equipped with an overload indicator; this shows if the line has been subjected to such a heavy load that the line must be replaced.

These double action safety hooks fitted to one line so even when changing position, you never need to be unclipped.

Safety lines on yachts, also known as lifelines, jackstays or jacklines, are essential safety features designed to prevent crew members from falling overboard while on deck. They are typically made of strong, durable materials such as stainless steel wire or synthetic rope and are attached along the perimeter of the yacht's deck.

Safety lines serve as a barrier or tethering system to keep crew members safely on deck while allowing them to move around freely. They are particularly important in rough seas or adverse weather conditions when the risk of falling overboard is greater.

Jackstays are typically installed along the edges of the deck, running from the bow to the stern and often supported by stanchions or posts. They may also be rigged across the deck at strategic points.

Crew members wear safety harnesses that are connected to the safety lines using snap hooks or carabiners. These attachment points allow crew members to move along the deck while remaining securely tethered to the yacht
