Baltic Force 190 Hammar MA1 190N Automatic Harness Life Jacket

Baltic Force 190 is an inflatable life jacket specifically developed for tough offshore racing conditions. It features the Swedish-made Hammar MA1 hydrostatic automatic inflation system, designed for reliable performance in demanding environments.

The Hammar MA1 valve activates through changes in water pressure, ensuring the life jacket only inflates when the wearer is submerged in water; reducing the risk of accidental inflation from spray or rain. The hydrostatic inflation system automatically activates at a water depth of approximately 10 cm (4 inches), rapidly inflating the life jacket using a CO₂ cylinder. This ensures inflation only occurs when the user is actually in the water and requires additional buoyancy.

With a buoyancy rating of 190N, the Force is classified as a life jacket and is designed to turn the wearer onto their back, helping to keep airways clear. This makes it suitable for both swimmers and non-swimmers, providing maximum safety in emergency situations.

The ergonomic design ensures a secure and comfortable fit, even during prolonged wear. It includes an integrated safety harness with twin attachment loops for a lifeline, a detachable crotch strap, and an integrated whistle for added safety and functionality.
