Increase your vessel's visibility to nearby radar-equipped ships with the Echomax Active XS Radar Target Enhancer (RTE). Designed to actively respond to both X Band and S Band marine radar, the Active XS exceeds the ISO 8729-2 performance standard, providing a significantly stronger radar return than passive reflectors alone.
The compact system consists of an external antenna and an internal control unit. When an incoming radar pulse is detected, the unit automatically transmits an enhanced response while providing clear visual and audible indication. Separate LEDs identify whether an X Band or S Band radar has been detected, and a selectable buzzer alerts the crew to nearby radar activity.
Built for reliable marine operation, the control unit features surge and reverse polarity protection, an externally accessible fuse, relay contacts for remote alarms or indicators, and flexible base or rear cable entry. The antenna can be mounted on either the mast or deck, making installation suitable for a wide range of sailing and motor vessels.
