Description

Hempel Bilge & Locker Paint 5112B is a high-opacity semi-gloss marine topcoat for bilges, lockers and working areas above the waterline. Suitable for glass fibre, wood and steel, it provides durable resistance to water and oil. It is not suitable for permanent immersion.

Hempel Bilge & Locker Paint 5112B is a high-opacity semi-gloss marine finishing coat developed for protecting and decorating bilges, lockers and other working spaces above the waterline. Its durable formulation provides good resistance to water and oil while producing a clean, semi-gloss finish.

Suitable for properly prepared glass fibre, wood and steel, the paint can be used on interior and exterior areas of boats above the waterline. Uncoated surfaces should be cleaned, sanded and primed with the appropriate Hempel primer. Glass fibre surfaces should be vigorously abraded before application.

The coating can be applied by brush, roller, paint pad or spray. Apply two to three coats for the recommended system, sanding and removing dust between coats where a smoother finish is required. Use Hempel Thinner 811 for brush, roller or paint pad application and Hempel Thinner 808 for spray application.
