Description

Hempel Broads 76111 is a self-polishing antifouling for glass fibre, wood, plywood and steel hulls used below the waterline. It provides season-long fouling protection for boats operating at cruising speeds; the vessel’s normal, continuous operating speed rather than maximum performance speed. It is not suitable for aluminium or light-alloy metals.

Hempel Broads 76111 is a self-polishing antifouling coating developed for protecting underwater hull surfaces from marine growth throughout the boating season. Its formulation is designed to maintain antifouling performance during normal cruising operation.

Suitable for properly prepared glass fibre, wood, plywood and steel, it is intended for exterior use below and around the waterline. It must not be applied to aluminium or light-alloy metals due to corrosion risk when copper-based coatings are in direct contact.

The coating can be applied by brush, roller or paint pad. Apply two coats as standard, with an additional coat recommended on leading edges, rudders and areas of high wear. Use Hempel’s Thinner 08080 when required, up to a maximum of 5%.
