Description

Hempel’s Teak Cleaner 67543 is a cleaning and renewing powder for new and previously treated teak. It is particularly suited to decks and other large wooden surfaces, for interior or exterior use above the waterline.

Hempel’s Teak Cleaner is applied to teak that has been wetted with clean fresh water. The powder forms a moist cleaning paste that is worked with a stiff brush to remove accumulated dirt, stains and grey weathering, helping restore the natural appearance of the timber.

The product is suitable for use before applying Hempel’s Teak Oil or Hempel’s Teak Colour Restorer. Hempel also states that the cleaner does not damage glass fibre or painted and varnished areas when used as directed. However, the powder contains acidic components, so stainless steel fittings must be covered or otherwise protected to prevent discolouration.
