Lofrans Lion 1000 Horizontal Electric Windlass - Low Profile

The Lofrans Lion 1000 is a 700W, 12V low-profile horizontal anchor windlass with a combination rope-and-chain gypsy. It has a 105kg working load, 575kg maximum pull and white polyester-coated aluminium construction. Choose a 6mm or 8mm chain version, with or without automatic free fall.

The Lion 1000 uses a spring-loaded arm to manage compatible rope and calibrated anchor chain on the combination gypsy. This allows the windlass to retrieve a correctly matched rope-to-chain anchor rode without requiring a separate warping drum.

All four variants operate from a 12V DC electrical supply and use a 700W motor. Line speed is 23m/min at working load, increasing to a maximum of 26m/min. Current draw at working load is 60A, and each windlass weighs 11kg.

Manual chain release is standard. MPNs 636216 and 636217 are equipped with automatic free fall, while MPNs 636214 and 636215 are standard non-free-fall models. A chain-counter magnet is pre-set as standard, and the control box is included in the package.

Chain diameter and calibration must match the fitted gypsy. An uncalibrated chain or a chain with the wrong pitch may not engage correctly.

Does the Lion 1000 include a chain counter?
