Lofrans XP800 Planetary Vertical Electric Windlass

The Lofrans XP800 is a 500W, 12V vertical planetary electric anchor windlass made from AISI 316L stainless steel. It delivers a maximum pull of 320kg, a 95kg working load and a working-load line speed of 17m/min. Models are available for 6mm, 7mm or 8mm chain.

The Lofrans XP800 is a compact vertical anchor windlass designed for small vessels up to 11 metres or 36 feet, as specified by the manufacturer. Its vertical planetary gearmotor and simple installation footprint allow it to be fitted on deck using standard hole-saw drills, including installation by one person.

The windlass is manufactured from marine-grade AISI 316L stainless steel and uses a water-protected planetary gearmotor. It includes a manual chain-release function, a pre-installed chain-counter sensor and an electric brake that locks the anchor when the windlass is not being operated.

All three XP800 variants use a 500W 12V motor and provide the same pulling capacity, electrical performance and overall dimensions. Model selection is determined by the required chain and rope size.

The XP800 has a pre-installed chain-counter sensor. A chain-counter display or control instrument is not listed as part of the standard equipment.
