Traditional control cables have a plastic outer which will not bend tightly.  The Multiflex Edge cable differs by having a 1.9mm steel core with a swaged, coiled steel surround, which is in turn covered in a flexible plastic coating. 

The result is just amazing.  The Edge cable has a minimum bend radius of just four inches and the low friction sheath maintains smooth use even under tension.  When fitting, keep the bends to a minimum to optimise performance 

Edge cables are also built to allow for an optimum gap between the inner core and conduit minimising backlash

Edge Cable has a minimum bend radius of 4 inches. However in use keep the bend radius as large as possible and the degree of bend to a minimum for optimal performance.
