The Multiflex H1 and B1B kit combines a Planetary 150 mechanical steering helm with a standard 90° black bezel. It is intended for compatible outboard, inboard and power-assisted sterndrive mechanical steering systems up to 150HP, subject to the ratings of the boat, engine, steering cable and all other system components.

What Is the Difference Between 75HP and 150HP Cable Options?

• For applications up to 75HP, the supplied compatibility guidance lists Safe-T Quick and M66-type cable systems.
• For applications above 75HP and up to 150HP, use a steering cable and complete system specifically approved for that engine power, such as the stated STQ No-Feedback or Multiflex Easy Connect configuration.
• A cable rated only to 75HP must not be used on an application above 75HP.
• The maximum permitted engine power is determined by the lowest-rated component in the complete steering system.

Is This a No-Feedback Helm?

No. This kit contains the standard H1 Planetary 150 helm. Multiflex lists the H1N as the separate non-reaction or no-feedback model. Using a cable associated with a no-feedback system does not convert the H1 into a no-feedback helm.
