Description

Osculati 65.520.06 is a 200g, two-component white gelcoat putty for repairing small chips, scratches, dents and worn areas on existing marine gelcoat. It is applied with a putty knife, cures to a glossy bright white finish and can be sanded after approximately 60 minutes at 25°C.

What is Osculati 65.520.06 used for?
This 4-in-1 marine gelcoat filler is designed for small DIY repairs to damaged gelcoat surfaces. It fills and levels imperfections while producing a glossy, varnish-like white finish that can be polished or overpainted after curing.

How is it applied?
The gelcoat putty is mixed with 1–3% benzoyl peroxide hardener and applied with a clean putty knife. The repair surface must be completely dry, clean and prepared with P80 or P150 abrasive paper before application.

How quickly does it cure?
At 25°C, the mixed filler has a gel time of approximately 4–5 minutes, becomes tack-free after approximately 20 minutes and fully dries in less than one hour. It can normally be sanded after 60 minutes. Higher temperatures shorten the curing time, while lower temperatures extend it.
