Solar panels produce electricity based on sunlight, but their voltage and current vary depending on conditions like temperature and shading. Every panel has a “sweet spot” called the Maximum Power Point (MPP) where it delivers the most power.
An MPPT controller constantly monitors the panel’s output and adjusts the voltage and current to lock onto that sweet spot, even as conditions change. It then converts the excess voltage into additional current, which means more efficient charging for your batteries.
