Supporting your steering cable with a universal support mount kit at regular intervals from helm to rudder/outboard is important to avoid bending or sagging of the cable.
Keeping the cable straight and supported means that the cable will flow smoothly and give excellent responsive steering. This kit allows steering cable to pass through the boat's splashwell and onto the outboard.
