Installation and Use

Confirm that the steering helm has a standard 19mm / 3/4in tapered shaft and is approved for a 345mm steering wheel before installation. The wheel must seat correctly on the taper without movement between the hub and shaft.

Secure the wheel using the shaft key and retaining hardware specified by the helm manufacturer. Do not force an incompatible hub onto the shaft or alter the taper to make it fit.

After installation, turn the wheel through the steering system's complete range and check that:
