Description
The WEST SYSTEM 105 Epoxy Resin And 206 Slow Hardener Kit is a professional-grade marine epoxy system designed for high-strength bonding, coating, laminating and structural repairs. Trusted by boat builders, repair professionals and DIY enthusiasts worldwide, this versatile epoxy system provides outstanding adhesion and long-lasting durability across a wide range of materials.
When mixed at the recommended 5:1 ratio, 105 Epoxy Resin and 206 Slow Hardener cure to form a tough, waterproof and moisture-resistant solid that bonds exceptionally well to wood, fibreglass, GRP, composite materials and many metals. The fast-curing formulation is ideal for projects requiring a quicker turnaround, particularly in cooler working conditions.
The low-viscosity 105 Resin provides excellent surface penetration and wet-out characteristics, ensuring maximum bond strength while also serving as an effective sealing and barrier coating. The 205 Fast Hardener accelerates cure times, allowing repairs and laminating work to progress quickly without compromising strength.
Compatible with the full range of WEST SYSTEM fillers, this epoxy system can also be used for gap filling, filleting, fairing and structural bonding, making it one of the most versatile epoxy systems available for marine, construction and industrial applications.
Please note: 205 Fast Hardener is not recommended where a clear or transparent coating finish is required due to its pale yellow to amber cured colour.
